the Clinic line roster includes prominent freelance musicians, members of the Calgary Philharmonic, and faculty from the University of Calgary and Mount Royal Conservatory of Music, as well as retired Band teachers. Our clinicians have Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, or Doctor of Music Degrees, as well as being accomplished performers.

Security Screening

Each clinician has a current security clearance check completed with the Calgary Police Service or local RCMP.

Liability Insurance and Workers' Compensation Board Coverage

the Clinic line carries commercial general liability insurance as well as Workers' Compensation Board coverage for Alberta.

Who Are We?

Allan Repp is the owner and operator of the Clinic line. He has both a Bachelor of Music and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Calgary, as well as a Diploma in Jazz Studies from Grant MacEwan Community College, Edmonton. Allan has over 20 years experience in the classroom as a Music Director in both the public and private school systems. Bands under his direction have consistently achieved “superior” ratings in the Alberta International, Kiwanis, and Red Deer music festivals. His bands have also had the honour of opening the Kiwanis Festival of the Stars and the Calgary International Jazz Festival. He is active as a conductor, piano and trumpet clinician, as well as a freelance musician.

Rachael Flatt completed her Bachelor of Music at the University of Calgary under the instruction of Ingrid Crozman and Philippa Fullerton. She also studied Baroque Flute with Genevieve Blanchard and has had lessons with Peter Lloyd, Doug Stuart and Doris Dungan. Rachael has performed in Spain, France, and around Canada as a soloist and with groups such as Les Quatres and The Carmen Duo. She has also performed in masterclasses such as Aria Summer Music Academy under Bonita Boyd and Fiona Wilkinson and In Search Of Inspiration with Wissam Boustany and Max Shoenfeld. Rachael has had recordings played on CBC radio, has recorded for theatrical productions with various companies including Theatre Calgary, and has also done an educational recording for band programs in Japan. Currently, she is working as a freelance musician and teacher in Calgary.
